Stéphanie Brassard
Soprano - Torin Chiles Studio
Born in Gatineau, Québec, soprano Stéphanie Brassard is currently living in London, Ontario where she is completing her Master’s Degree in Performance and Literature at Western University, under the tutelage of Torin Chiles. She has since completed her Artist Diploma at Western University with Torin Chiles, Bachelor’s in Fine Arts with a Specialization in Music Performance at Concordia University with Dr. Irene Feher and her DEC in Classical Music Performance at Cégèp Vanier with Tamara Vickard. Stéphanie has recently performed with the Canadian Operatic Arts Academy as the roles of Marie (La fille du régiment), The Governess (Turn of the Screw) and Second Woman (Ballad of Baby Doe). She has also performed in her first operatic role in the Western Opera Workshop production of Giacomo Puccini’s Gianni Schicchi as La Ciesca in November 2016. Stéphanie is looking forward to her last few performances with Western Opera Workshop as Chorus for Carmen and featured soloist for the Opera Gala in March.
